Cocoa Banana Strawberry Smoothie
This Cocoa Banana Strawberry Smoothie makes the perfect recovery smoothie after a training session. It combines carbohydrates for refuelling, protein for muscle tissue repair and nutrient rich fruits and cocoa which help reduce inflammation from exercise. WHAT YOU’LL NEED
1.5 cups 0-2% cow milk
1 banana
3/4 cup strawberries
1 heaped tsp honey
1 heaped tsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Per serving: 340 calories, 60g carbohydrate (5g fibre), 15g protein, 8g fat.
Tips
To boost protein, you can add 1/4-1/2 cup greek yogurt
For a lower carbohydrate alternative, you can skip the honey, and/or use 1/2 banana.
